Happy Fall! I, for one, have been loving Peterborough’s autumn colours. I don’t think anything beats walking along trails with red and orange and yellow trees next to you while you listen to your favourite podcast.
I’m really exicted for all of the exciting things PIP has coming this season and you can find a lot of information about these projects below!
The board and I have worked pretty hard to get some grant applications in, so fingers crossed some of them come through!
We had a very successful Podcasting 101 workshop in September. Plus, we’ve been getting contacted by many organizations in the Peterborough area to host private podcasting workshops. Later in October, we are hosting a Social Media for Creative Projects workshop.
Plus, you can now listen to some of the great content our members are producing on Trent Radio (92.7 FM) Sunday afternoons. From 11:30 a.m.- 4 p.m., we are hosting the Peterborough Independent Podcasters showcase.

We have also renewed our arrangement with Trent Radio to provide studio space to PIP members on Sunday afternoons from noon until 4:00 p.m. Book time in the studio by sending us an email.
The board and I have also scheduled our Annual General Meeting for Saturday November 17 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sadleir House. Please join us for a meal provided by the board of directors, the AGM, and afterwards our popular social event: the Podcast Cabaret.
Overall, it’s looking like a very exciting season! If you ever feel like dropping in to say hi, our Fall office hours are Saturday 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at our office on the third floor of Sadleir House.
